On a visit to Paris Armenian Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan held a meeting with French Minister of Culture Rima Abdul-Malak.
Reference was made to a number of issues related to cultural heritage, particularly the preservation of the cultural heritage of Nagorno-Karabakh, the Urartian exhibition expected to open in the Louvre, the upcoming exhibitions of the works of Martiros Saryan and Minas Avetisyan in France, as well as joint film production and opera theater tours.
The organization of events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Charles Aznavour was also touched upon.
The parties discussed a number of issues aimed at intensification of the exchange between the artists of the two countries.
In the fall, Rima Abdul-Malak is expected to visit Armenia.
