Dialogue is key to reaching a lasting peace in the South Caucasus region, US Secretary of STate Antony Blinken said after talks with Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers in Washington.
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, US State Secretary Antony Blinken and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov held a meeting at the George P. Schultz National Foreign Affairs Training Center.
The regional security situation, issues of normalisation of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan were discussed.
The humanitarian situation resulting from the illegal blockade of the Lachin corridor by Azerbaijan was touched upon.
