
A magnitude 5.0 earthquake hit 22 km south of the city of Khoy in Iran at 18:41 local time (14:41 GMT), the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations informs.
The quake was registered at the depth of 10 km. The intensity reached 6-7 at the epicenter.
The tremor was felt in Armenia’s Syunik, Vayots Dzor and Ararat regions.
