By the order of the Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Pambukhchyan, the Regional Rescue Departments of Gegharkunik, Syunik and Vayots Dzor were put on high alert to respond if necessary.
The decision is connected with the escalation of tension as a result of the Azerbaijani provocation.
The Azerbaijani forces started intensive firing in the direction of the Armenian positions in Goris, Sotk and Jermuk shortly after midnight today.
