Armenia to announce representative for Junior Eurovision 2022 soon

The Armenian Public TV received over 100 applications from Armenia and abroad for participation in the national selection of Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022 to be held in Yerevan.

The Public TV and the professional jury listened to live performances and conducted interviews to select the 30 songs that made it to the second round.

The jury comprises head of the Armenian delegation to Eurovision Davit Tserunyan, music producer of Public Television Anushik Ter-Ghukasyan, Armenia’s entrant at Junior Eurovision 2011 Dalita, Armenia’s representative at Eurovision 2022 Rosa Linn and songwriter Lilit Navasardyan.

The first channel will soon announce the name of the Armenian entrant at Junior Eurovision 2022.

The 20th Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place in the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex, in Yerevan, Armenia, on Sunday, December 11.

This follows Maléna’s sensational win in Paris with her whirlwind of a song Qami Qami.
