Surik Matevosyan, a resident of Tegh community of Syunik region, crossed to the territory under Azerbaijani control as he was herding sheep in the pasture.
The head of Tegh community Davit Ghulunts confirmed the news to Public Radio of Armenia.
He said they are currently negotiating over the return of the citizen.
Ghulunts promised to provide an update later.
