The Michigan House adopted HR 87, a resolution designating April 24th as Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day in Michigan.
The resolution was submitted by Representative Mari Manoogian.
“I’m honored to speak about our community each year and grateful for my colleagues’ support of this resolution,” she said.
