300 apartments to be commissioned in Stepanakert in the first half of 2021

President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan paid a working visit to a number of construction sites in capital Stepanakert today and gave new instructions on the terms of operation of facilities.

The President noted that housing the number one social problem of the Republic in the post-war period, and added that in the coming years the Government will make every effort to provide housing to all citizens left without shelter.

Upon President Harutyunyan’s instruction, the multi-storey buildings under construction in different parts of Stepanakert with about 300 apartments will be put into operation by the first half of next year due to the increase in labor force.

Within the framework of the project, some administrative buildings will be converted into residential buildings.

During the working tour, the President also visited Artsakhkat Closed Joint-Stock Company, got acquainted with the conditions of the full-scale workshop, thanked the staff for continuing the production process even during the difficult period of the war, and providing the population with fresh dairy products.

President Arayik Harutyunyan was accompanied by the Chairman of the Board of “Armbusinessbank” CJSC Arsen Mikayelyan and the Minister of Urban Development of the Republic of Artsakh Aram Sargsyan.
