Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ara Ayvazyan had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Artsakh Republic Masis Mailian.
Minister Mailian congratulated his counterpart on assuming the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and wished him every success, noting that he was undertaking this responsible mission at a very important time for Armenia and Artsakh.
Expressing gratitude for the congratulations and best wishes, Ara Ayvazyan stressed the importance of close cooperation between Armenia and Artsakh at different levels, including the Foreign Ministries.
The interlocutors discussed the situation created by the Turkish-Azerbaijani military aggression against Artsakh, the efforts made on the spot to address the humanitarian crisis.
The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Artsakh stressed the need for the unwavering protection of the vital interests of the Armenians of Artsakh, including through the realization of the right to live freely and safely in their historical cradle.
