Defence Army: “Battles of local significance” taking place in northern and southern fronts

The situation on the Artsakh-Azerbaijan front line remained relatively stable, if tense through the night. Some fire fights and artillery duels continued in some areas, the Artsakh Defence Army report.

At dawn, the Azerbaijanis violated the ceasefire agreement yet again by firing on civilian infrastructure in the town of Martakert as well as the surrounding villages.

At the moment, localised battles are taking place in both the northern and southern sectors of the front line.

One enemy aircraft was shot down in southern Artsakh by the Army’s Air Defence units. The Artsakh Defence Army remains in full control of the tactical situation in the battlespace.
