Armenian de-mining specialists on humanitarian mission in Syria cleared an area of 2,417 square meters in November, the Center for Humanitarian Demining and Expertise (CHDE) reports.
Two landmines and a number of improvised explosive devices were found during the de-mining activities.
During the same period Armenian doctors examined and provided medical assistance to 1,147 people.
Armenian specialists have been carrying out humanitarian mission in Syria since February 2019. A second group of doctors and de-miners was dispatched to Syria in June. In total, Armenian specialists have cleared an area of 123 thousand square meters and provided medical assistance to 6,800 people.
