Armenia invites Belarus to work out joint IT programs

Armenia has invited Belarus to work out joint IT programs. The issue was discussed during Armenian President Armen Sarkissian’s meeting with the Prime Minister of Belarus Sergeu Rumas on the sidelines of the EBRD Eastern Partnership Investment Summit in London.

Issues related to the development of cooperation between Armenia and Belarus were discussed. President Sarkissian pointed to  modern technologies, in particular artificial intelligence and mathematical modeling as promising directions of cooperation.

President Sargkissian suggested discussing possible joint projects in the field of information and high technologies.

Prime Minister Rumas said, in turn, that by joining forces, Armenia and Belarus will move faster in this area. “You have your competitive solutions, we have ours. We need to understand how to combine them to have synergy,” he added.
