The World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT 2019) held in Yerevan October 6-9 was an achievement for technological Armenia, organizers say.
The power of decentralization turned Armenia’s capital into the center of the world, where 124 speakers and about 6,700 participants gathered to discuss the future if the age of technology.
WCIT 2019 establishes benchmarks, which other events will strive to reach, WCIT 2019 Organizing Committee President and Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE) Chair Alexander Yesayan told reporters today.
The forum in Yerevan was the best organized one in the history of WCIT,” said James Poisant, Secretary General of the World Information Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA).
Alexander Yesayan added that world-famous Armenians like Serj Tankian, Kim Kardashian, Alexis Ohanian and others definitely ensured a greater interest towards the event.
Among the important achievements he pointed to the quality of discussions held within the framework of the congress.
