Henrikh Mkhitaryan will become the first Armenian to play a game for Roma – with Armenia becoming the 50th different country to have had a player represent the Giallorossi, the club said ahead of the Sunday clash against Sassuolo.
Whether the Armenia captain will debut for the club is yet to be announced.
Mkhitaryan has joined the Serie A side AS Roma on loan for the rest of the season.
