A large sport school in honor of Olympic champion Artur Aleksanyan will be built in Armenia’s Gyumri, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan informs in a Facebook post.
The school will have a 1,000-place training hall for wrestling, weightlifting, basketball, mini-football, volleyball and other sports.
Greco-Roman wrestler Artur Aleksanyan won an Olympic gold in 2016. He was a bronze medalist in 2013.
Aleksanyan is a three-time World Champion and a four-time European Champion.
