Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan says new circumstances have emerged on Amulsar gold mine that need to be assessed.
The statement comes after a videoconference with experts of ELARD, which conducted an environmental audit.
“Yesterday’s discussion contained important information to answer the question of whether the Amulsar gold mine project requires a new Environmental Impact Assessment,” Pashinyan said in a Facebook post.
Armenia’s Ministry of environmental Protection is to publish its conclusion before September 4.
