Armenia sends new batch of humanitarian aid to Syria

A new batch of humanitarian aid provided by the Armenian-Russian Humanitarian Response Center has been sent to Syria, the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.

The humanitarian aid is intended for the Syrian population, which has suffered as a result of the military conflict.

Minister of Emergency Situations Felix Tsolakyan was at the site to see nine trucks off to Syria.

The cargo includes 52.5 tons of canned meant, 35 tones of canned fish, 40 tons of sugar, as well as dry food supplies weighing 14.5 tons.  

Representatives of the Armenian and Russian sides will hand over the humanitarian aid to the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, which will organize the further delivery.
