American actress and singer Katherine McPhee has teamed up with International Animal Rescue to help save 50 captive brown bears in Armenia. McPhee is urging her fans to take part in rescuing the bears.
“We want to save these beautiful brown bears from unimaginable suffering in Armenia. They are currently being locked up, neglected, and starved and they need our help,” McPhee wrote on Facebook.
“I would really appreciate it if you could donate as much as you can, even a dollar helps! Please help shed light and awareness on this important cause.”
On Tuesday, McPhee went live on Facebook to rally support for the cause. The actress said she was first informed about International Animal Rescue after watching an episode of “60 Minutes.”
