Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has congratulated Ursula von der Leyen on being elected President of the European Commission. The congratulatory message reads, in part:
“I am convinced that your presidency, as the first female president of the European Commission, will be marked by the European Union’s new achievements,” PM Pashinyan said.
He emphasized that Armenia has a hectic and comprehensive agenda with the European Union.
“We attach special importance to the implementation of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement, which will help us to not only build on our ties, but also to advance the Armenian government’s reform agenda,” Nikol Pashinyan continued.
