Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs & Cooperation Louise Mushikiwabo has been elected new Secretary General of the International Organization of La Francophonie.
The election took place behind closed doors within the framework of the 17th Francophonie Summit in Yerevan.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashnyan congratulated the newly elected Secretary General and reiterated the support for Francophone countries.
