Armenian PM planning to visit Moscow soon

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said he is planning to visit Moscow in the near future to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin,,

“I’m confident that we’ll hold a detailed discussion on a number of issues on our agenda and will find solutions to many questions,” Pashinyan said in a live Q&A on Facebook.

“Surely, I don’t insist we’ll solve all issues, but I assure that our cooperation continues to develop normally,” he said.

Referring to snap elections, the Prime Minister said: “We are now working on constitutional amendments. The document will be ready soon, and we’ll send it to the National Assembly. We’ll have political discussions within that framework and will reach common decisions as a result,” he said.

He added that the snap elections will be held in May or early June 2019 as planned.
