Today the Prosecutor General’s Office will file a complaint with the Court of Cassation against the Court of Appeals decision to release Armenia’s second President Robert Kocharyan from jail, Head of the Public Relations Department of the Prosecutor General’s Office Arevik Khachatryan has said.
Kocharyan was detained July 27 on charges of violating constitutional, but was subsequently released from custody upon court decision on August 13.
