Russian border guards patrolling the Armenian Turkish border have detained five trespassers, the Russian Federal Security Service’s Border Defense Department in Armenia informs.
The criminal group attempted to illegally cross into Armenia. The five were identified as citizens of Afghanistan.
The trespassers have been handed over to the Armenian law-enforcement bodies.
Investigation into the details of the incident is under way.
