The Public Radio of Armenia is resuming broadcasts in Georgian from July 11, two years after the programs were ceased in April 2017.
“I hope the work of this Georgian service will be important and timely for the Armenian Georgian relations,” says Mark Grigoryan, Executive Director of Public Radio of Armenia.
“This is also an indicator of our attitude towards our northern neighbor,” he added.
“I have been thinking about reopening the Georgian service ever since my appointment, but this was dragging out because of different problems, including financial ones. The issue seems to be solving with the new government coming to power,” Mark Grigoryan said.
From today on the Georgian programs will be available on armradio.info.
