Armenia’s Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan has appealed to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to initiate a criminal case against MP Manvel Grigoryan and convene a special sitting of the National Assembly to discuss the Prosecutor General’s petition to strip Manvel Grigoryan of immunity.
Member of Parliament Manvel Grigoryan was detained on June 15 on charges of Illegal procurement, transportation, keeping and carrying of weapons, explosives or explosive devices by a group with prior agreement.
A criminal case has been opened under Article 235.2 of the Armenian Criminal Code.
