President Armen Sarkissian has signed a decree, appointing Valery Osipyan as Chief of Police.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in a video messae he hopes Mr. Osipyan will come to everyone’s expectations, as the wellbeing of citizens largely depends on Police.
“Citizens should be confident that their rights are protected,” Pashinyan said.
