The Japanese Government has awarded Charles Aznavour with an Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette, for his contribution to the developing music in Japan and promoting exchange and friendship between Japan and France through music and cinema.
The Japanese Foreign Ministry announced the recipients of spring decorations on April 29.
