President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev paid a visit to the Armenian Genocide memorial complex within the framework of his state visit to Yerevan, Armenia
President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan, accompanied by Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, Acting Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Gevorg Vardanyan.
The Bulgarian President laid a wreath at the memorial to the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide and paid tribute to their memory with a moment of silence. He then visited the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, where he was briefed on the details of the first genocide of the 20th century.Rumen Radev left a note in the Book for Honorary Guests. AGMI Acting Director Gevorg Vardanyan handed the President a Golden Medal of the Institute.
The guests then visited the Memory Alley, where the President of Bulgaria planted a traditional fir tree.
