Victims at the border should be excluded, Armenia’s President says

Victims at the border should be excluded, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said in an interview with Armenia TV. “The manhunt that exists today should be stopped,” he said.

“This will create an atmosphere of trust. Mutual trust comes, when you start implementing the agreements,” the President said.

According to him, to continue the talks in a calm atmosphere, mistrust should be eliminated.

Referring to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s recent visit to Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan said: “The Russian Foreign Minister is convinced that the Karabakh issue can be solved within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group, and the proposed principles are the only framework that will allow to solve the conflict.”

President Sargsyan said Lavrov had no new proposals.
