The body of the Azerbaijani serviceman has been handed over on November 28 to representatives of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, the Armenian Ministry of Defense reports.
The transfer took place on the Yeraskh-Sadarak section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border by the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
The body was discovered on November 23 by Armenian servicemen in a no man’s land in front of an Armenian combat position in the south-western section of the Armenian state border.
The serviceman was an Azerbaijani Armed Forces captain, who had fled his military unit after a crime was committed there.
