Drinking water tariff in Armenia to rise in 2018
The water tariff will rise in Armenia next year. The Public Services Regulatory Commission today approved the application of Veolia Djur, the company that delivers drinking and wastewater services to Armenia’s population.
The price for one cubic meter of water will cost 191.4 AMD from January 1, 2018, which means a 6.3% rise from the current 180 AMD.
Chairman of the Commission Robert Nazaryan said at the sitting that consumers will not be affected by the change in price, at least during 2018.
