President Serzh Sargsyan has offered condolences to his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani over the devastating earthquake that claimed hundreds of lives and left many injured.
President Sargsyan expressed his sympathy and support to the President and the friendly people of Iran. He wished patience and strength to the families and friends of the victims and a speedy recovery to those injured.
A 7.3-magnitude earthquake that hit the northern border region between Iran and Iraq, has killed at least 214 people and injured more than 2,800.
The aftershocks were felt in Armenia.
