Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian has arrived in Israel for an official visit.
Within the framework of the visit, Minister Nalbandian is expected to have meetings with high-ranking officials of Israel and the Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem, Archbishop Nurhan Manukyan.
Head of the Political Studies Department of the Noravank Foundation Karen Veranyan calls the visit “unprecedented.”
“This invitation marks a brand new stage in the Armenian – Israeli relations, a stage where the issue of resident ambassadors is gradually becoming more realistic,” the expert said.
