Polish Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski is flying on a three-day trip to Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia, Poland Radio reports.

Waszczykowski will hold talks focusing on bilateral relations between Poland and each of the three countries, on economic cooperation and security.

His trip comes several weeks ahead of an Eastern Partnership summit in Brussels in November.

The Partnership, an initiative by Poland and Sweden, was launched in 2009 to forge closer political and economic ties between the EU and its eastern neighbors.
