On October 2, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; sent a letter of condolences to President Donald Trump of the United States expressing condolences on the tragic events in Las Vegas.
His Holiness expressed his sympathy to the US President, the American people and the families of the victims, praying for the repose of their souls. ” May God grant eternal rest to the souls of the departed, comfort and solace to all those in mourning, as well as endow the injured victims with a quick recovery, good health, and strength to overcome this traumatic event.,” the letter stated in part.
His Holiness expressed his wish that God safeguard the United States and all the American people.
