Armenian Genocide-related docs from Vatican archives handed to AGMI

A valuable package of Armenian Genocide-related documents kept in Vatican’s secret archives has been handed to the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute (AGMI).

The documents have been acquired by Italian Armenian businessman Arthur Asatryan with support from Armenia’s Ambassador to the Holy See Mickael Minasyan.

The documents were handed to AGMI’s acting director Suren Manukyan by author of the “Armenians by origin” program Manana Hakobyan.

Manana Hakobyan noted that part of the documents has been digitized, the digitization of the rest is still under way.
