The museums of Armenia need young and educated staff, but many of the candidates lack for empathy and a necessary level of competence, Karo Vardanyan, the Head of the Charents Literature and Art Museum told Sputnik Armenia.
«Especially in the rural communities there is not a large choice of personnel, if not to say there is no choice at all. We had such a problem concerning the Bakunts Museum. The former administrator fell incurably ill and had to leave the position. I visited the region administrator and explained the problem to him. I asked him to suggest someone from the region. For two months he could not find a proper person. He invited professors from Syunik institutes, school teachers of Armenian language and literature for a talk. He still could not make choice», Karo Vardanyan said.
