The gas supply to Armenia has been suspended since yesterday because of the construction work which is planned at the Georgian part of North Caucasus – Transcaucasia gas main (near The Kura).
The natural gas supply will be blocked for 30 days. Closed joint-stock company “Gasprom Armenia” has assured that gas supply of the Armenian consumers will be provided without limitations during the period thanks to the Abovyan underground gas storage station.
The Georgian Gas-Transport Company sent an official message to “Gasprom Armenia” today. The message states that construction of an aerial crossing is planned at the Georgian part of North Caucasus – Transcaucasia gas main (near The Kura) for completion of which 30 calendar days are needed.
