Migration management training in Gogavan

Joint trainings were held at the border crossing point of Gogavan by the International Migration Organization of the UN and RA Ministry of Emergency Situations on topic of «Management of migration flows caused by natural disasters and military actions».

The Minister Davit Tonoyan watched the process accompanied by Georgian colleagues.

«Such trainings should be held in conditions as close to real ones as possible, so we can reveal the shortcomings and eliminate them», the Minister stressed.

According to the Press Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, this is the first training on migration topic under the international aegis, in which Georgia is involved as an observer. The training is a part of Armenian-Georgian cooperation program in the sphere of emergency situations.
