Foreign volunteers impressed by Armenia

A number of foreign volunteers are in Armenia in the network of UNESCO “Patrimonio 2017” program. Thanks to the “Armenia student brigades” organization, youth from Korea, Hong Kong, Spain, France, Poland and other countries are welcomed in Armenia for the first time.

 

On the invitation of the administration of “Service for the protection of historical environment
and cultural museum reservations” they have been to the region of Vayots Dzor on Tuesday.
The guests were much impressed by the rich historical-cultural heritage of Armenia, the Service reports. They had an excursion in the territory of the monastic complex of Noravank and the nmuseum of Momik. The guests shared their impressions in the guest book.

 

Simon Gautier from France bought and scrupulously studied a book on Armenia before the visit. Of the sights that he planned to visit he has already been to Sevanavank, National Gallery of Armenia, Garni, History Museum of Armenia. He intends to visit Armnenia also in during another season.

Alba Soneyra from Spain also plans to visit Armenia in winter. “I want to see Ararat covered with snow and to admire that beauty. The cliffs of Noravank were so big, that I felt very small surrounded by them”, said the volunteer.

Agnesa Timbarea from Latvia tries to develop her Armenian. She can already great and introduce herself in our language.
