Fatih Akin, a Turkish-German director, the author of “The Scar”, is going to shoot a film on the women’s wing of Syria’s Kurdish “People’s Protection Units”, who fight against ISIS. “Ermenihaber” reports, citing «Demokrathaber», that Akin posted a picture on Instagram, which announces the film shooting. An armed woman is depicted and the inscription says: “Smash the Daesh. Support YPG-YPJ freedom fighters. Defend the democratic revolution in Rojava”.
