Monument dedicated to the anniversary of Pope Francis’ visit to Gyumri has been unveiled in Armenia’s second largest city.
In the center of the monument is the same altar where the Pope offered a liturgy.
The walls depict episodes of the historic visit, with the cross symbolizing Pope’s visit standing next to the monument.
Pope Francis visited Armenia June 22-24, 2016.
