Estonia fully supports OSCE Minsk Group efforts

President Serzh Sargsyan received today Estonian Foreign Minister Sven Mikser.

The interlocutors hailed the development of Armenian-Estonian relations over the past 25 years based on historic friendship and mutual trust. President Sargsyan said “Armenia is willing to further intensify and deepen the political dialogue both in bilateral and multilateral formats, develop cooperation on inter-parliamentary and inter-governmental level.

The parties referred to the Armenia-EU relations and the perspectives of their development.

Foreign Minister Sven Mikser voiced hope that the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement would be signed during Estonia’s presidency of the EU.

Minister Mikser briefed President Sargsyan on the priorities of its upcoming presidency of the European Union.

The interlocutors exchanged views on regional issues and challenges, the settlement of the Karabakh conflict.

Sven Mikser underlined that “Estonia fully supports the OSCE Minsk Group efforts targeted at the resolution of the issue.”
