Manchester United stars were forced to have their cars checked by security on their way to training ahead of their Europa League final, Daily Mirror reports.
Phil Jones and Henrikh Mkhitaryan were among the players who pulled over and let guards have a look inside and out their vehicles.
Security, from firm CSG, opened boots and used a metal detector to hunt for devices under cars at Carrington training ground.
The measures come less than 24 hours after a bomb exploded at Manchester Arena after an Ariana Grande concert.
A suicide bomber killed 22 concert goers, and injured 59 others, in a terror attack in the city on Monday night.
United were making their final preparations for their Europa League final fixture with Ajax – with Jose Mourinho’s men fly out to Stockholm on Tuesday afternoon.
