Internet search engine giant Google celebrates its 18th birthday today, September 27, with an animated cartoon doodle on its home page which shows balloons in the colours of its logo. It was 18 years ago, that Google was founded as a company which has now turned into a web giant.The doodle features an animation of the company’s logo in which the capital G letter turns into a long tubular party balloon forming ‘oogle’. Thereafter, the logo rises up as if due to up-thrust of air.
Doodler Gerben Steenks has designed today’s doodle which will be liked by the users of all ages. Google has come of age and become adult by growing and grooming itself for the last 18 years.
