The Armenian National Security Service informs that several policemen are still held hostage as of 17:00 and the demand of the armed group remains the same.
Representatives of law-enforcement bodies are currently trying to persuade the terrorists to refrain from actions that could threaten the life and health of people, to release the hostages and surrender to the authorities without resistance.
The special forces are in the state of combat readiness, but there has been no order to storm the building or take any actions.
