Head of the Prosperous Armenia Party Naira Zohrabyan proposes to react to PACE President Pedro Agramunt’s statement on Nagorno Karabakh.
The MP labeled the statement “shameful” and said that with his pro-Azerbaijani remarks PACE President Agramunt is becoming an accomplice in military aggression.
National Assembly’s Vice President Hermine Naghdalyan said she had a telephone conversation with President of PACE yesterday and briefed the latter on the real development of events.
Pedro Agramunt said in a statement he’s “extremely worried at the reports of violence in Nagorno-Karabakh and deeply saddened at the loss of life.
He called on both sides to honour the cease-fire and swiftly resume negotiations towards a peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Mr Agramunt also called for “the withdrawal of all Armenian armed troops from occupied Azerbaijani territories.”
