Azerbaijan continues the terrorist actions despite the statements on the highest level on the on “unilateral ceasefire,” Spokesman of the NKR President David Babayan told Public Radio of Armenia.
“The reality is completely different,” he said. “This is a speculation peculiar to Azerbaijan. We have always said we’re ready for normal constructive dialogue and peaceful settlement of the conflict, but it does not mean we are weak and we are unable to protect our independence, freedom and dignity,” Babayan said.
Azerbaijan has said it announces a “unilateral ceasefire” in fighting with Armenian forces.
A defence ministry spokesman said the Azeris were acting in response to international calls to halt violence.
