System of a Down to play in Clarkston, Mich. as part of “Wake Up the Souls Tour”

System of a Down will play at the DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston, Mich. on June 17 as part of the “Wake Up the Souls Tour” that commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Armenian genocide, the Western Herald reports.

The Melvins and Le Butcherettes will also play at the show, which will be the band’s last stop in the United States before playing in Canada and Central and South America.

Serj Tankian, the lead singer of System of a Down, previously told the Herald that two of the songs on the set list for the tour, “P.L.U.C.K.” and “Holy Mountains” are about the Armenian genocide.
