On 28 April Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan received Dr. Pamela Steiner, lecturer of the Harvard University, great granddaughter of Henry Morgenthau, USA ambassador to the Ottoman Empire during the First World War, NKR President’s Press Office reports.
A number of political, humanitarian and psychological issues related to the history of Armenian people and Artsakh were touched upon during the meeting.
President Sahakyan noted that Henry Morgenthau had always enjoyed great respect by the Armenian people and qualified the life and activity of the diplomat as a standard of high professionalism and morality.
Foreign minister Karen Mirzoyan and other officials partook in the meeting.
